The diverter valve is installed before your shower head,the second shower head or hand held unit is installed to the other side of the diverter

How it works

Each shower diverter valve works a little differently,but the concept is the same,there is usually a a lever or a button that comes along with the diverter.when you press the lever to the right ,ou will allow the water to flow throught the overhead shower(as an example)and if you press the lever to the left,the water will flow into the handhelf shower

How to install

Installation is relatively simple.you need to remove the shower head and install the diverter valve.then you just reach the shower head on one side and thread the end for the hand held shower on the other side
